2009 Big Game
The Pick
California vs. 14 Stanford
34 - 28
November 21, 2009
Stanford Stadium, Stanford, CA
Even though they had identical records, Andrew Luck's Stanford team was the favorites to win the Big Game and the Cal players were more than a little miffed at being overlooked. Cal proved they were more than a match for Stanford and with time running out in the 4th, they were up by a touchdown. Stanford drove to the 13 and were threatening to tie or take the lead, but Mike Mohamed grabbed the interception to secure Cal's Big Game win.

2006 Pac 12 Regular Season
Punt return for TD
16 California vs. 11 Oregon
45 - 24
October 7, 2006
California Memorial Stadium, Berkeley, CA
Oregon was favored going into this Pac 12 matchup, but Cal gave them a thumping they wouldn't soon forget. Donning bright yellow jerseys for the game, Cal took the lead from the start. But it was the 64 yard punt return by DeSean Jackson that seemed to seal the game. His touchdown put Cal up by 25 points in the 2nd quarter, a margin Oregon couldn't overcome.

2003 Pac 12 Regular Season
Win in 3OT
California vs. 3 USC
34 - 31
September 27, 2003
California Memorial Stadium, Berkeley, CA
Cal was a heavy underdog against #3 USC but they never trailed in the game. They knuckled it out, taking the game to triple overtime where Tyler Fredrickson got a chance to win the game. His previous two field goal attempts had been blocked, but this 38 yarder sailed through the uprights and won the game.

1982 Big Game
The Play
California vs. Stanford
25 - 20
November 20, 1982
California Memorial Stadium, Berkeley, CA
In what is now known as "The Play," Cal stunned Stanford with a 5 lateral play to beat them as time expired. Stanford had scored a field goal with only 4 seconds left in the game, giving them a one point lead. Stanford felt so secure in their win that after the kickoff their band began to march on to the field. But Cal wasn't finished playing and they scored a miraculous touchdown, mowing down members of the band to get into the endzone. It's the most memorable Big Game ever played and one of the most memorable plays in football history.
