2018 Divisional Round
Minnesota vs New Orleans
29 - 24
U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, MN
The greatest play in Minnesota history, arguably one of the greatest in American football history. We all know the play, not much needs to be said here. Diggs takes it to the house and puts Minnesota into the Conference Championship.
2007 Regular Season
AP's Record Day. 296 Yards
Minnesota vs San Diego
35 - 17
Metrodome, Minneapolis, MN
One of the greatest running backs the league has ever seen, he showcased it to the world in a November game against San Diego. Not only did he rush for 296 yards, the record for a single game, he did so as a rookie! 296 yards, 3 TDs, one GOAT performance.
2005 Wild Card Round
The Moon at Lambeau
Minnesota vs Green Bay
31 - 17
Lambeau Field, Green Bay, WI
The score spread the gap against Green Bay to two TD's in the 4th. However, what came after has lived in infamy, or glory, depending on where you stand. Personally, I loved it. I'm sure you loved it. Moss's entertaining Minnesota career is highlighted by his mooning of the Lambeau faithful.
1969 Conference Championship
The Purple People Eaters
Minnesota vs Los Angeles
23 - 20
Metropolitan Stadium, Bloomington, MN
The Purple People Eaters and a Joe Kapp offense led Minnesota to the their first Super Bowl appearance. Earlier in the playoffs, it was legendary lineman Alan Page whose interception with 30 seconds left sealed the victory for Minnesota and sent them into the Championship game.
