Mike Glennon and the Wolfpack took #3 Florida State to the brink of defeat with 16 seconds left to play. NC State had one chance remaining, facing 4th down and goal. Bryan Underwood was able to find some space in the endzone and Mike Glennon delivered the game winning touchdown pass.

Leading by one score with three minutes to play, NC State was looking to stop reigning Heisman Lamar Jackson from taking his team 89 yards to tie or take the lead. His hopes were quickly cut short as Germaine Pratt intercepted a deflected pass and returned it 25 yards for the touchdown and sealed the victory.

With 31 seconds remaining in a tied game, Philip Rivers was trying to set up his Wolfpack for a game winning field goal. T.A. McLendon took matters into his own hands however, breaking out a 38 yard touchdown run to give the Wolfpack the lead with less than a minute remaining.

The Hail Mary

After taking a sack on what would have been the last play of the game, an offsides flag gave the Wolfpack one more shot at the end zone. Erik Kramer scrambled around and heaved it into the end zone where where Danny Peebles was able to come away with the touchdown, and the extra point would give them the victory.
