The nail in the coffin. Damien Williams raced down the sidelines for a 38 yard touchdown, his second of the night to essentially seal the game and a Super Bowl victory for Kansas City.

It was the AFL's final championship game. The winner earned the privlege to play in the first ever Super Bowl. Kansas City's defense dominated, only giving up a TD in the 1st Qtr. However, an 18 yard run by Mike Garrett was the highlight as he ran all over the backfield before finding the endzone.

"65 Toss Power Trap! 65 Toss Power Trap!" Coach Hank Stram was full of soundbites throughout the game but most notably was for his favorite play which gave Kansas City their first touchdown of the game and a 17-0 lead. tram and KC would go on to win their first Super Bowl.
