With the lead and less than two minutes in the half and the whole field to go, Houston could have played it safe and taken their lead into the half. Instead, Case Keenum found a streaking Patrick Edwards for a 75 yard touchdown to give them a commanding lead into the half.

In a shocking upset over #5 Louisville, Houston was able to dismantle the defense with plays like the 50 yard touchdown pass by receiver Linell Bonner to Chance Allen to give them a 31 point lead.
