1997 Divisional Round
Underrated Upset
Jacksonville vs Denver
30 - 27
January 4, 1997
Mile High Stadium, Denver, CO
Just after earning their first ever playoff win, Jacksonville went to Mile High Stadium to face the #1 seed, Elway's Broncos. Underdogs entering the game, Jacksonville even found itself down 12-0 in the first quarter but marched back to seal the win and a spot in the conference championship.
2000 Divisional Round
Retiring Marino
Jacksonville vs Miami
62 - 7
January 15, 2000
Alltel Stadium, Jacksonville, FL
Jacksonville was 15-2 yet some believed they just had a soft schedule. Well, within 15 mnutes they quickly erased any doubt that they were legit storming to a 24-0 1st quarter lead including a 90-yard td run from Fred Taylor. Miami would win 62-7 and Marino soon retired after the game.
2008 Wild Card Round
Running for the Win
Jacksonville vs Pittsburgh
31 - 29
January 5, 2008
Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, PA
Jacksonville's chance to win it's first playoff game in 8 seasons and after allowing Pittsburgh back into the game, it was down to a 4th and 2 with less than 2 minutes to go. David Garrard took the snap and took off for 32 yards setting up Scobee to kick the game winning field goal.
2018 Wild Card Round
Defense Seals the Win
Jacksonville vs Buffalo
10 - 3
January 7, 2018
EverBank Field, Jacksonville, FL
The 2017 Jacksonville defense is one of history's best. Finishing in the top 2 for practically every defensive statistic throughout the regular season, it wasn't surprising that their defense, and all-pro CB sealed the victory with an interception as Buffalo attempted to tie. Playoff winners again.
