As a fan, this series could not have started off any better. OT was hard fought, but after the Panthers collected a delay-of-game penalty in the last minutes of OT, the Oilers took advantage of it and score with 31 seconds left to win game 1. As you could have guessed, the goal was scored by none other than Leon Draisaitl and assisted by Connor McDavid and Corey Perry. This would be Draisaitl's second goal of the night and biggest goal of his career.
