2007 Pac 10 Regular Season
The Upset
Stanford vs. 2 USC
24 - 23
October 6, 2007
Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
USC was the preseason favorite to win another National Championship and entered the Stanford game undefeated. But Jim Harbaugh had had his eye on USC all season, and despite entering the game with a record of 1 - 3, Harbaugh was looking for an upset. Before the game Stanford was handed a setback with the injury of it's starting quarterback T.C. Ostrander, but it didn't matter. Quarterback Tavita Pritchard had never started a game prior to that night but nonetheless led Stanford to a huge upset with the biggest play coming with less than a minute to go in the 4th quarter. Stanford was down 6 with :54 to play when Pritchard found Mark Bradford in the endzone for the winning score.

Revenge for The Play
Stanford vs. Cal
27 - 25
November 17, 1990
California Memorial Stadium, Berkeley
Stanford had scored with 12 sec left and was down 24 - 25. They tried for a 2pt conversion and it was intercepted. Reminiscent of "the Play," Cal thought they had won and stormed the field. Stanford did an onside kick, recovered it and John Hopkins stunned Cal fans with a 39 yd field goal for the win as time expired.
