The 2025 College Football Championship, between Ohio State #8 and Notre Dame #7, this first of the 12 team playoffs ever, with this play highlighting the Buckeyes win over Notre Dame. The freshman sensation, Jeremiah Smith, delivers a killing blow to the Notre Dame defense after catching a 56 yard pass from Will Howard in the closing minutes of the 4th quarter. Notre Dame looked to have the momentum, coming off a touchdown and 2-point conversion, they looked to make a quick stop to keep their hopes alive. All that work was set aside after this beauty was caught and taken to the 10-yard line to set up the Buckeye’s last and game sealing field goal. Ohio State would go on to win the 2025 College Football Championship 34-23.

The 2025 College Football Playoffs, Semifinal #2 between Ohio State #8 and Texas #5 at the Cotton Bowl was electric. This play was a highlight of the Buckeyes win over Texas to move onto the NCAA College Football Championship Game vs Notre Dame. At 4th and Goal for the Longhorns, as pass play was broken up after Jack Sawyer came around the outside of the O-line to force a fumble by the quarterback. Sawyer punched the ball out himself, picked up the fumble and was untouched for 83 yards to the endzone. Ohio would go on to win this game 28-14.

Kickstarting the 2nd half of the 2025 Championship game,Ohio State came out swinging with a huge 70 yard run from their own 25. Quinshon Judkins squeaks through a perfect hole to make a quick dash for center field and then angled off toward the near-side corner of the endzone. He was eventually tracked down and tackled at the 5 yard line and Ohio State would go on to score three plays later. Ohio State would go on to win the 2025 College Football Championship 34-23.

This play was a highlight of the Buckeyes win over Texas to move onto the NCAA College Football Championship Game vs Notre Dame. At 1st and 10 from their own 25, Will Howard drops back to the 15, looks right and finds running back TreVeyon Henderson wide open on the 20 yard line. After getting some key blocks, Henderson ran the ball 70 yards for the Buckey’s second touchdown of the game. Ohio would go on to win this game 28-14.
