However, in game 5 of the series, we saw a new face, Brandon Bussi. Bussi had not played a single minute of gametime hockey for two months leading up to this game. With the series tied 2-2 and at home, it was a big moment for the Carolina Hurricanes. They needed a win, and The Bus showed up huge. This save was a highlight reel for Bussi, with a Vegas player in his face all alone, he stood tall and made the glove save to maintain a 3-1 lead. Leads in this series were not a guarantee with many multi-goal leads evaporating late in games. Bussi went on to finish the series in net, shutting down the Golden Knights and finishing on a high in Game 6 with a shutout and a Stanley Cup Championship.
