But the team was up to the challenge, taking Detroit to 7 games and tied at two apiece late in the 3rd period. Detroit goalie Chris Osgood made a judgment error, coming out of the net to play the puck into the boards where Jamie Baker was waiting. Baker slapped it into the empty net for the game-winner, propelling San Jose on to the Semifinals.
