2004 is easily Minnesota's greatest season. Led by Kevin Garnett, they earned the number 1 seed and reached the conference finals, in part to KG's performance in Game 7 against Sacramento. Only making 11 3 PT's all season, his clutch 3 in the 4th qtr with the shot clock winding down was critical.

At only 22 years old, Kevin Love put himself in the national spotlight recording the first 30 point and 30 rebound game in 28 years. Later that year he would be named an All-Star and his 31-31 game was truly his coming out party. The Target center wasn't packed but it sounded like a Game 7.

Turning back the clock
Timberwolves vs Los Angeles

7 December, 2015
In 39 year old Garnett's return to Minnesota, he got fans up off their seats with a monster dunk over Blake Griffin, who is normally on the opposite end of posters. KAT was pumped up, LA's Pierce was hiding a grin, and KG drew a technical for taunting but nobody cared. The Big Ticket was back.

Ending the Drought
Timberwolves vs Denver

This game had a lot to remember. Taj Gibson's defense in the final minutes on Jokic kept Minnesota in the game and forced overtime. But it was Wiggins, who knew what was on the line - 14 straight years without playoffs - whose clutch free throws ended the drought. Ice cold.
