Game 5 of the NBA Finals, was between the Indiana Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder. After a close fought first few minutes of the game, the OKC Thunder took the lead and never looked back. Jalen Williams scores 40 points and the Thunder with 120-109 to make it 3-2 in the series and one away from winning an NBA Championship. While the game was tight at the start of the 4th quarter, the Thunder turned up the heat and broke away from the Pacers. OKC plays again vs the Pacers on the road for game 6.

Game 5 of the West NBA Conference Finals between the Denver Nuggets and the Oklahoma City Thunder was close right up to the end. The dagger? Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's 27-foot 3-pointer to put the Thunder up 109-103. With the shot clock in the dying seconds, SGA make a move to the center of the court, wide open, and drains a 3-pointer. This would lead to a game win and the Thunder taking a 3-2 series lead over the Nuggets. OKC would later go on to win the series and play the Indiana Pacers in the Finals.

The dagger to end the series, shot by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in a wonderful step back 2-pointer to put the Oklahoma City Thunder up 116 to 111 with only 11 seconds left on the clock in Game 4 of the NBA Playoffs, first round. Memphis was in dire need of a win being down 3 games to 0, but were no match for the OKC Thunder who swept the series 4-0 ahead of their second round matchup with the Denver Nuggets. Gilgeous-Alexander would go on to have 38 minutes in this game, 13-24 on shots, 1-4 on 3-pointers, and nailed 11-13 free throws. With a longer break after sweeping the series, the Thunder will have lots of energy headed into the next round.
