2005 Round of 16
A sweet shot
Arizona vs Oklahoma State
79 - 78
24 March, 2005
In the Round of 16, Arizona found themselves on the brink of elimination; losing by 1 with only 13 seconds remaining. Arizona's standout player, Salim Stoudamire, dribbled himself into a pull up jumper and knocked it down with less than 3 seconds remaining, sending the Wildcats into the National Quarterfinals.

1997 National Championship
The run ends with the title
Arizona vs Kentucky
84 - 79
31 March, 1997
Arizona, the only team to win an NCAA crown after finishing as low as fifth place in its conference, capitalized on a 34-9 edge in free throws made to upend favored Kentucky. Arizona beat three 1 seeds, including Kentucky, on their way to winning the title; the only team to ever do so.

2001 National Semifinals
To the Championship
Arizona vs Michigan State
80 - 61
31 March, 2001
Winning by only 2 points at halftime, Arizona started the 2nd half on fire. Only 6 minutes into the half, Arizona had raced to a 20 point advantage led by Arenas, Gardner, and a few Jefferson 3 pointers. They trounced 1 seeded Michigan State to reach the Championship for the second time in five years

1989 Regular season
Player of the Year
Arizona vs Duke
77 - 75
26 February, 1989
Sean Elliott, a Tuscon native and Arizona's all-time leading scorer, shined in the spotlight during a nationally televised game against Duke. With only 53 seconds left, Elliott's clutch 3-pointer not only won the game, it propeled Arizona to a #1 overall ranking as well as help push him to winning the Wooden award.
