1979 Stanley Cup Semis: Game 7
Guy Lafleur's goal
Canadiens vs Boston
5 - 4
10 May, 1979
Montreal would go on to win the Stanley Cup, but early in the playoffs they were facing elmination in Game 7 against Boston. Boston was up 4 - 3 late in the 3rd, when they picked up a penatly for too many men on the ice. Guy Lafleur raced up the ice to take the pass from Jacques Lemaire and hit a powerful slap shot from behind the top of the circle. The iconic goal forced overtime where Yvon Lambert would get the game-winner.

I like the concept, cool gift idea, but it came misaligned. The graphic wasn’t aligned and off centered. For the price I was hoping for more attention to detail.
My son was in the stadium when Freeman hit his grand slam. Of course I had to buy him the mug. He'll get it next week for Christmas.
Just what I ordered! It’ll be a great gift!
I have always been happy with my orders from Playbook. Unfortunately my last order came in and was misprinted leaving the score and dates covered by black. I reached out 3 times to the company to fix it in a matter of a couple of weeks, provided a photo (multiple times) and no one has reached out to fix the order. Sadly, this was a Christmas gift for my father in law and now I am out $30 and have no gift to give him. I'm disappointed and hope that someone responds to me to get this resolved ASAP.
