Ortiz at the plate
Red Sox vs New York
6 - 4

After Dave Roberts' steal in the 9th, Boston and New York both went scoreless into the 12th. Cut to the bottom of the 12th. On the 4th pitch, Ortiz took Paul Quantrill long, hitting a 2-run walk off home run to buy Boston another game in the series. Boston went on to beat New York in 7 and then to win their first World Series in 86 years, sweeping Saint Louis in 4 games.
