2004 Regular Season
McGrady 13 in 33
Rockets vs San Antonio
81 - 80
9 December, 2004
Tracy McGrady's 13 points in 33 seconds is one of the all-time greatest performances by any basketball player. Down by 8 points with 35 ticks left on the clock, McGrady drove the court and put up the first, of what would be, four 3-pointers. San Antonio went 4-for-4 on free-throws, but it didn't matter. Down by 2 points with 1.7 seconds left on the clock, McGrady made his final 3-pointer to win the game.

1994 Finals: Game 6
Olajuwon blocks Starks
Rockets vs New York
86 - 84
19 June, 1994
1994 was the year Houston earned the title 'Clutch City' after overcoming a 0-2 deficit against Phoenix in the Conference Semifinals. It was a title they earned over again in the 7 game series with New York for the championship. Down 3-2 in the critical Game 6, Houston was up a basket and there were only seconds left on the clock, but New York had the ball and a chance to win. Hakeem Olajuwon came up huge, blocking John Stark's 3 point attempt that would have given New York the title. The block forced Game 7, which Houston won to bring home their first championship title.

1995 Western Conference Semis: Game 7
Kiss of Death
Rockets vs Phoenix
115 - 114
20 May, 1995
A year after turning "Choke City" to "Clutch City," Houston was once again falling behind 0-2 to Phoenix and then to 1-3 in the Conference Semifinals. But once again Houston battled back, becoming the first team to ever overcome such a playoff deficit. In Game 7 Mario Elie hit a clutch three with 7 seconds left on the clock and blew Phoenix fans what became known as the "Kiss of Death." Phoenix wont the series and went on to sweep Orlando in the Finals for Houston's second title.

1986 Western Conference Finals: Game 5
Sampson's game winner
Rockets vs Los Angeles
114 - 112
21 May, 1986
Houston was a huge underdog against the defending champs, but Los Angeles was only able to get a win in one game against Houston. Los Angeles put up a strong effort in a high scoring Game 5 and had the score tied at 112 with only a second left on the clock. That's when Ralph Sampson stunned them with a jumper off an inbound pass from Rodney McCray with no time left on the clock. The shot sent Los Angeles home and sent Houston to the NBA Finals.

It is a little difficult to see the etching on the slate. That was disappointing
