Florida State was looking for revenge for the crushing defeat they had suffered in the 1997 Sugar Bowl, and entering the game they were double ranked favorites coming in. Florida was not phased and set about winning in what is now known as the "Greatest game ever played in the Swamp." With one minute left to play, Florida was up a touchdown and Florida State had one last attempt. That attempt ended when Dwayne Thomas came up with an interception, sealing the win for Florida.

2 January, 1997
The 1997 Sugar Bowl pitted #1 Florida vs. #3 Florida State for the National Championship. Florida State kept it close in the first half, but Florida broke open the game in the 2nd for a huge lead. Already leading by 18 going into the 4th, Florida hit home two more devastating touchdown blows, including this 42 yard run by Terry Jackson, to win by a whopping 32 point margin.

8 January, 2007
#2 Florida stunned #1 Ohio State with this blowout. Florida led by 20 points at halftime and Ohio State would not score again in the game. The final score of the game came in the 4th quarter on 4th and goal with Tim Tebow rushing for the touchdown. The win gave Florida their 2nd National Championship.

8 January, 2009
Florida took the lead and held it, despite numerous comeback attempts by Oklahoma in the 2009 BCS Championship Game. Florida struck first on a 20 yard touchdown pass from Tim Tebow to Louis Murphy in the 2nd quarter. Oklahoma tied it up by half but then Florida took off in the 2nd to win by 10 points, 24 - 14. The win got Florida their 3rd Championship and 2nd in 3 years.
Common questions
Are these a good gift for a Florida fan?▾
Yes. This coaster set is made for a Florida fan who really knows and loves the team. They’ll recognize moments like Greatest Game Ever Played and First championship, and each coaster gives them another piece of Florida history to talk about. It’s more than a logo on a coaster — it’s a way to relive the plays and memories that made them a fan. It’s especially suited to a dad, husband, friend, or hard-to-shop-for Florida fan who already owns the usual team gear.
Is this a good Christmas gift for a Florida fan?▾

What makes these different from traditional sports merchandise?▾
These coasters focus on memorable plays rather than a team logo. Each one features an original Playbook diagram of a real Florida play, drawn to show how the moment unfolded. Playbook Products is not affiliated with or endorsed by Florida or the NCAA.
How long do Florida coaster orders take to ship?▾
Most Florida coaster orders are processed within 1–2 business days, then typically arrive 2–4 business days after they ship (U.S.). During busy holiday periods, processing can take longer. A delivery date shown on this page is an estimate.
What if a coaster arrives cracked or damaged?▾
Send us a photo of the damaged coaster within 14 days of delivery and we'll send a replacement. Please hold onto the damaged coaster until we let you know otherwise.
Are these coaster designs AI-generated?▾
No. I've spent hundreds of hours reviewing footage of these plays and drawing them up as they happened. The finished drawings are laser-etched onto the coasters using our own machines. The artwork is not generated by AI. I appreciate you supporting a small business.
