1987 Regular Season
The Classic
Miami vs Florida State
26 - 25
3 October, 1987
Another classic in the Miami-Florida State rivalry with both teams ranked in the top 5 and naitonal championship aspirations. Miami was down 3-19 in the 3rd quarter but mounted a comeback to tie it up 19-19. However, with just over 2 minutes left and needing a 1st down conversion in their own territory an audibled play call at the line resulted in not just a first, but Michael Irvin streaking up the sidelines for a 73 yard TD. Miami would stay unbeaten throughout the season, winning their second national championship.
2000 Regular Season
A Shock-ing Win
Miami vs Florida State
27 - 24
7 October, 2000
Down by 4 points against #1 Florida State, the Hurricanes put together a strong drive as they marched down the field. With only 46 seconds left to play, Dorsey found Shockey over the middle to put Miami up by 3. As history would have it, FSU would get a chance to send the game into OT, only to have their kicker miss wide right. It was the first time Miami beat FSU since 1994 and beating a #1 team let the world know, The U was back.
2001 Regular Season
The friendly strip and return
Miami vs Boston College
18 - 7
10 November, 2001
The 2001 Miami team is argued by some to be the best college football team of all time. However, against unranked Boston College, Miami found themselves in serious trouble with 30 seconds left as Boston College had a 1st and Goal on Miami's 9 yard line. But then a quick interception, followed by something spectacular, as Ed Reed stripped the ball from his own teammate and decided to return it all the way for a touchdown, essentially ending the game there.
1984 Orange Bowl
First championship
Miami vs Nebraska
31 - 30
2 January, 1984
Calhoun tipped away Nebraska's 2pt attempt to seal the win and Miami's first ever championship.

Yes. This coaster set is made for a Miami fan who really knows and loves the team. They’ll recognize moments like The Classic and A Shock-ing Win, and each coaster gives them another piece of Miami history to talk about. It’s more than a logo on a coaster — it’s a way to relive the plays and memories that made them a fan. It’s especially suited to a dad, husband, friend, or hard-to-shop-for Miami fan who already owns the usual team gear.

What makes these different from traditional sports merchandise?▾
These coasters focus on memorable plays rather than a team logo. Each one features an original Playbook diagram of a real Miami play, drawn to show how the moment unfolded. Playbook Products is not affiliated with or endorsed by Miami or the NCAA.
How long do Miami coaster orders take to ship?▾
Most Miami coaster orders are processed within 1–2 business days, then typically arrive 2–4 business days after they ship (U.S.). During busy holiday periods, processing can take longer. A delivery date shown on this page is an estimate.
What if a coaster arrives cracked or damaged?▾
Send us a photo of the damaged coaster within 14 days of delivery and we'll send a replacement. Please hold onto the damaged coaster until we let you know otherwise.
Are these coaster designs AI-generated?▾
No. I've spent hundreds of hours reviewing footage of these plays and drawing them up as they happened. The finished drawings are laser-etched onto the coasters using our own machines. The artwork is not generated by AI. I appreciate you supporting a small business.
