2007 Regular Season
Ending the streak
Navy vs Notre Dame
46 - 44
3 November, 2007
Navy and Notre Dame have a long storied rivalry but Navy had not beaten Notre Dame in 43 games prior to this one. Determined to turn the tables, Navy took Notre Dame into triple overtime. Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada found Reggie Campbell on the first play of 3OT for a 25 yd touchdown and then threw to him again for the 2-point conversion. Notre Dame answered with a touchdown but Navy stuffed their 2-point conversion attempt, giving Navy the hard-fought win.
1996 Aloha Bowl
Off the bench
Navy vs California
42 - 38
25 December, 1996
In 1996 Navy got a big bowl win over California in the Aloha Bowl. Trailing by 10 entering the 4th, back-up QB Ben Fay led Navy on two touchdown drives and the Navy defense held California scoreless for the win. The game-winning touchdown was a fake from Fay, who ran it in from the 10 yard line.
2012 2012 Army-Navy Game
Decade of Dominance
Navy vs Army
17 - 13
8 December, 2012
In the 2000s Navy has been the clearly better team in the Army Navy rivalry. Navy has not lost since 2001 and in 2012 they capped a decade of dominance with this win over Army. Late in the 4th Navy was trailing by a field goal but had driven 70 yards and set up a first and goal. Navy QB Keenan Reynolds kept the ball and ran 10 yards for the TD, securing the win.
1963 1963 Army-Navy Game
Undefeated
Navy vs Army
21 - 15
7 December, 1963
The 1963 team is considered the best Navy team ever. The team went undefeated in the regular season and Roger Staubach won the Heisman trophy. The final season of the regular game was the always heated Army-Navy game. To add extra gravitas, the game followed the JFK assassination and the nation was looking for a reason to cheer. Navy gave them a reason with Pat Donnelly scoring three touchdowns, including this 20 yard run in the 4th. Army fought back, getting within a touchdown and then down to Navy's 2 yard line, but Army couldn't get their last play off before the clock ran out. The win sent Navy on to face Texas in the Cotton Bowl.
Common questions
Are these a good gift for a Navy fan?▾
Yes. This coaster set is made for a Navy fan who really knows and loves the team. They’ll recognize moments like Ending the streak and Off the bench, and each coaster gives them another piece of Navy history to talk about. It’s more than a logo on a coaster — it’s a way to relive the plays and memories that made them a fan. It’s especially suited to a dad, husband, friend, or hard-to-shop-for Navy fan who already owns the usual team gear.
Is this a good Christmas gift for a Navy fan?▾

Each coaster brings back a memorable moment from Navy history, making the set both useful and personal to someone who really follows the team. What makes these different from traditional sports merchandise?▾
These coasters focus on memorable plays rather than a team logo. Each one features an original Playbook diagram of a real Navy play, drawn to show how the moment unfolded. Playbook Products is not affiliated with or endorsed by Navy or the NCAA.
How long do Navy coaster orders take to ship?▾
Most Navy coaster orders are processed within 1–2 business days, then typically arrive 2–4 business days after they ship (U.S.). During busy holiday periods, processing can take longer. A delivery date shown on this page is an estimate.
What if a coaster arrives cracked or damaged?▾
Send us a photo of the damaged coaster within 14 days of delivery and we'll send a replacement. Please hold onto the damaged coaster until we let you know otherwise.
Are these coaster designs AI-generated?▾
No. I've spent hundreds of hours reviewing footage of these plays and drawing them up as they happened. The finished drawings are laser-etched onto the coasters using our own machines. The artwork is not generated by AI. I appreciate you supporting a small business.
