Earlier in the day #1 ranked Ohio State had been upset in the Rose Bowl giving Oklahoma a chance at their 4th national championship. At the start of the 4th, Steve Davis made a 9 yard run for a touchdown, putting Oklahoma up by 2 scores and all but assuring them the win.

Oklahoma cruised to an easy 5th national championship against Penn State. Shutting them out entirely in the 2nd half, Oklahoma won by 15 points, but early in the 2nd quarter they had yet to score a touchdown. A 71 yd touchdown from Jamelle Holieway to Keith Jackson gave them much needed momentum.

In just his second season as the head coach for Oklahoma, Bob Stoops led them to an undefeated season and their 7th national championship. In a defensive battle with Florida State, Josh Heupel's hand off to Quentin Griffin for a 10yd touchdown run put the game out of reach for Florida State.
Common questions
Are these a good gift for an Oklahoma fan?▾
Yes. This coaster set is made for an Oklahoma fan who really knows and loves the team. They’ll recognize moments like The Catch and 5th National Championship, and each coaster gives them another piece of Oklahoma history to talk about. It’s more than a logo on a coaster — it’s a way to relive the plays and memories that made them a fan. It’s especially suited to a dad, husband, friend, or hard-to-shop-for Oklahoma fan who already owns the usual team gear.
Is this a good Christmas gift for an Oklahoma fan?▾

What makes these different from traditional sports merchandise?▾
These coasters focus on memorable plays rather than a team logo. Each one features an original Playbook diagram of a real Oklahoma play, drawn to show how the moment unfolded. Playbook Products is not affiliated with or endorsed by Oklahoma or the NCAA.
How long do Oklahoma coaster orders take to ship?▾
Most Oklahoma coaster orders are processed within 1–2 business days, then typically arrive 2–4 business days after they ship (U.S.). During busy holiday periods, processing can take longer. A delivery date shown on this page is an estimate.
What if a coaster arrives cracked or damaged?▾
Send us a photo of the damaged coaster within 14 days of delivery and we'll send a replacement. Please hold onto the damaged coaster until we let you know otherwise.
Are these coaster designs AI-generated?▾
No. I've spent hundreds of hours reviewing footage of these plays and drawing them up as they happened. The finished drawings are laser-etched onto the coasters using our own machines. The artwork is not generated by AI. I appreciate you supporting a small business.
