1999 World Cup Finals
Brandi wins it
USWNT vs China
0(5) - 0(4)
10 July, 1999
After a scoreless game and two scoreless overtime periods, the 1999 Finals against China went to penalty kicks. Carla Overbeck, Joy Fawcett, Kristine Lilly and Mia Hamm had already made their penalties and Briana Scurry had saved Liu Ying's penalty. That meant that if Brandi Chastain could hit hers, the US would win the World Cup. Chastain calmly set the ball, ran up and sunk it into the upper right corner of the net. Her celebratory shirt removal after winning the World Cup will go do down as the most iconic moment in Women's soccer and perhaps all World Cup history.
2019 World Cup Finals
Lavelle's Run
USWNT vs Netherlands
2 - 0
7 July, 2019
Dunn had just stopped a counter attack and Mewis picked up loose ball. She laid it off to Rose, who had just turned back from a defensive run and was galloping into space in the midfield. Rose took the ball and ran all the way from the center circle into the 18 yard box and slid the ball cleanly past the keeper into the corner. It was the capstone of a spectacular breakout performance in the tournament by the 24 year old and put the finals to rest after Rapinoe's penalty kick.
1991 World Cup Finals
The greatest trophy
USWNT vs Norway
2 - 1
30 November, 1991
It was the first Women's World Cup ever played and the US was facing Norway in the finals. With only 2 minutes remaining in the game (halves were only 40 minutes) the score was tied at 1 apiece. Michelle Akers had already scored the first goal for the US and she was about to win the game for them. Shannon Higgins booted it from midfield and the Norway defender Tina Svensson made a poor decision to pass it back to goalie Reidun Seth. Akers was too quick and overtook the ball, sidestepping Seth to score the game-winner and win the first World Cup title for the US.
2015 World Cup Finals
Three trophies record
USWNT vs Japan
5 - 2
5 July, 2015
In one of the most dominant displays ever for the US Women's team, Carli Lloyd scored a hat trick in just the first 16 minutes of the 2015 World Cup Finals. Her first goal came just three minutes into the game as she streaked into the box to strike Megan Rapinoe's corner into the net. The US went on to win the game 5 - 2, gaining their third World Cup title.
Common questions

Yes. This coaster set is made for an USWNT fan who really knows and loves the team. They’ll recognize moments like Brandi wins it and Lavelle's Run, and each coaster gives them another piece of USWNT history to talk about. It’s more than a logo on a coaster — it’s a way to relive the goals and memories that made them a fan. It’s especially suited to a dad, husband, friend, or hard-to-shop-for USWNT fan who already owns the usual team gear.

What makes these different from traditional sports merchandise?▾
These coasters focus on memorable goals rather than a team logo. Each one features an original Playbook diagram of a real USWNT goal, drawn to show how the moment unfolded. Playbook Products is not affiliated with or endorsed by USWNT or the NATIONAL.
How long do USWNT coaster orders take to ship?▾
Most USWNT coaster orders are processed within 1–2 business days, then typically arrive 2–4 business days after they ship (U.S.). During busy holiday periods, processing can take longer. A delivery date shown on this page is an estimate.
What if a coaster arrives cracked or damaged?▾
Send us a photo of the damaged coaster within 14 days of delivery and we'll send a replacement. Please hold onto the damaged coaster until we let you know otherwise.
Are these coaster designs AI-generated?▾
No. I've spent hundreds of hours reviewing footage of these goals and drawing them up as they happened. The finished drawings are laser-etched onto the coasters using our own machines. The artwork is not generated by AI. I appreciate you supporting a small business.
