2013 Outback Bowl
The Hit
South Carolina vs Michigan
33 - 28
1 January, 2013
In the fourth quarter of the 2013 Outback Bowl, Jadeveon Clowney had an unobstructed path to the backfield and laid one of the hardest hits you'll ever see on Michigan's running back Vincent Smith forcing him to fumble. In one motion, Clowney proceeds to get up and grab the ball with one hand returning it to Michigan's 31 yard line setting South Carolina up to score with eight minutes left trailing by one point.
2013 Week 9
The rally to double OT
South Carolina vs Missouri
27 - 24
26 October, 2013
Down to their last play of the game, Connor Shaw converts a 15 yard touchdown pass to receiver Bruce Ellington to send the game into a second overtime. South Carolina would end up winning their biggest game of the season and finish at 9-2, good for the fourth overall ranking at the end of the season.
2010 Week 6
Upsetting 'Bama
South Carolina vs Alabama
35 - 21
9 October, 2010
Leading by seven against top seeded Alabama, Alshon Jeffery hauls in a spectacular one handed catch to put the Gamecocks on the six yard line. Marcus Lattimore would punch in the touchdown and give Carolina a commanding 14 point fourth quarter lead that they would hold on to and defeat #1 Alabama.
2005 Week 11
Spurrier takes down Florida
South Carolina vs Florida
30 - 22
12 November, 2005
After coaching at Florida for 11 seasons, Steve Spurrier would be facing 12th seed Florida for the first time as the coach of South Carolina. The Gamecocks would go on to upset Spurrier's former team, highlighted by a 3rd quarter 64 yard catch and run by WR Sidney Rice that brought South Carolina to the 1 yard line with a 1 point lead. RB Mike Davis would punch it in for the TD and give SC an 8 point lead that would be enough for them to hold on and win. This broke a 14 game losing streak to Florida, with Spurrier being Florida's coach for 10 of them.
Common questions
Are these a good gift for a South Carolina fan?▾
Yes. This coaster set is made for a South Carolina fan who really knows and loves the team. They’ll recognize moments like The Hit and The rally to double OT, and each coaster gives them another piece of South Carolina history to talk about. It’s more than a logo on a coaster — it’s a way to relive the plays and memories that made them a fan. It’s especially suited to a dad, husband, friend, or hard-to-shop-for South Carolina fan who already owns the usual team gear.
Is this a good Christmas gift for a South Carolina fan?▾

What makes these different from traditional sports merchandise?▾
These coasters focus on memorable plays rather than a team logo. Each one features an original Playbook diagram of a real South Carolina play, drawn to show how the moment unfolded. Playbook Products is not affiliated with or endorsed by South Carolina or the NCAA.
How long do South Carolina coaster orders take to ship?▾
Most South Carolina coaster orders are processed within 1–2 business days, then typically arrive 2–4 business days after they ship (U.S.). During busy holiday periods, processing can take longer. A delivery date shown on this page is an estimate.
What if a coaster arrives cracked or damaged?▾
Send us a photo of the damaged coaster within 14 days of delivery and we'll send a replacement. Please hold onto the damaged coaster until we let you know otherwise.
Are these coaster designs AI-generated?▾
No. I've spent hundreds of hours reviewing footage of these plays and drawing them up as they happened. The finished drawings are laser-etched onto the coasters using our own machines. The artwork is not generated by AI. I appreciate you supporting a small business.
