2012 Regular Season
That Catch
Angels vs Baltimore
13 - 1
27 June, 2012
Arguably Trout's most memorable play of his career so far, he looked like Superman leaping up in the air to rob Hardy of a homerun. The future GOAT showed he isn't just an offensive weapon, he is perhaps the best all-around player ever to grace a baseball field. What a catch.
2002 World Series: Game 6
The Comeback
Angels vs San Francisco
6 - 5
26 October, 2002
Anaheim fans would say this is the greatest World Series game ever. Losing 0-5, only eight outs away from San Francisco winning the title, Anaheim sparked a comeback to save the game, the series, the season, and dreams of a championship. We all know what happened in game 7 afterwards - history.
2002 ALCS: Game 5
Winning the Pennant
Angels vs Minnesota
13 - 5
13 October, 2002
Adam Kennedy was the ALCS hero when he blasted 3 homeruns in Game 5, sparking a 7th inning in which Anaheim scored 10 runs and cemented their place atop the AL. Winning the AL pennant for the first time, Anaheim finally made the series and kept their eye on the ultimate prize.
1984 Regular Season
The Perfect Game
Angels vs Texas
1 - 0
30 September, 1984
Los Angeles HOF inductee, Mike Witt pitched the 11th perfect game in league history on the last day of the 1984 season. The only perfect game in franchise history, the 6' 7" pitcher struckout 10 and put the game to bed with only 94 pitches.
Common questions
Are these a good gift for an Angels fan?▾
Yes. This coaster set is made for an Angels fan who really knows and loves the team. They’ll recognize moments like That Catch and The Comeback, and each coaster gives them another piece of Angels history to talk about. It’s more than a logo on a coaster — it’s a way to relive the plays and memories that made them a fan. It’s especially suited to a dad, husband, friend, or hard-to-shop-for Angels fan who already owns the usual team gear.
Is this a good Christmas gift for an Angels fan?▾
Yes. These coasters make a unique Christmas gift for Angels fans, especially someone who already has plenty of jerseys, hats, and traditional team gear. Each coaster brings back a memorable moment from Angels history, making the set both useful and personal to someone who really follows the team. Our coaster sets are especially popular as Christmas gifts, with more than 16,000 five-star reviews across Shopify and Etsy.
One customer wrote: “The quality is insane, perfectly matched description. Bought for my dad for Christmas and as a man that is incredibly hard to buy for he loved them and are a great convo starter with his friends, Great gift would buy from this seller again.” — Etsy Customer, January 11, 2023
What makes these different from traditional sports merchandise?▾
These coasters focus on memorable plays rather than a team logo. Each one features an original Playbook diagram of a real Angels play, drawn to show how the moment unfolded. Playbook Products is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Angels or Major League Baseball.
How long do Angels coaster orders take to ship?▾
Most Angels coaster orders are processed within 1–2 business days, then typically arrive 2–4 business days after they ship (U.S.). During busy holiday periods, processing can take longer. A delivery date shown on this page is an estimate.
What if a coaster arrives cracked or damaged?▾
Send us a photo of the damaged coaster within 14 days of delivery and we'll send a replacement. Please hold onto the damaged coaster until we let you know otherwise.
Are these coaster designs AI-generated?▾
No. I've spent hundreds of hours reviewing footage of these plays and drawing them up as they happened. The finished drawings are laser-etched onto the coasters using our own machines. The artwork is not generated by AI. I appreciate you supporting a small business.
