2013 ALCS Game 2
Ortiz grand slam
Red Sox vs Detroit
6 - 5
13 October, 2013
Detroit had won the first game of the ALCS and going in to the bottom of the 8th, leading 5 - 1, they were confident of winning the second. But Boston had other plans. With one out away, Will Middlebrooks doubled and then Jacoby Ellsbury walked to get 2 men on base. Shane Victorino struck out to add some drama and then Dustin Pedroia singled to load the bases. And then Big Papi stepped to the plate. David Ortiz didn't waste time, taking the first pitch over the center field wall for a grand slam to tie the game. Boston would win it in the 9th on an RBI single form Jarrod Saltalamacchia to tie the series at 1 - 1.

2013 ALCS Game 6
Grand slam to the World Series
Red Sox vs Detroit
5 - 2
19 October, 2013
Boston was looking to win the ALCS in 6 games but were down a run going into the 7th inning. Fortunately Boston was ready to hit. Jonny Gomes started the inning with a double to left. After Stephen Drew struck out, Xander Bogaerts walked and Ellsbury got to first on a shortstop error. With the bases loaded Shane Victorino stepped up and put the game away. His grand slam sent Boston to their third World Series in 10 years.

2013 World Series Game 4
Gomes 3-run HR
Red Sox vs St. Louis
4 - 2
27 October, 2013
Boston trailing a game in the World Series 1 - 2, and going in to the sixth were engaged in a tight game that had the score tied at 1 apiece. The first two batters went down but that only fueled Boston to start a 2 out rally. Dustin Pedroia singled and David Ortiz walked to bring Jonny Gomes up to the plate. Gomes 3 run home run gave Boston a comfortable lead, leading them to knot the series at 2 games each.

2013 World Series Game 6
The final out
Red Sox vs St. Louis
6 - 1
30 October, 2013
Boston had a comfortable lead going in to the bottom of the 9th thanks to a three-run double by Shane Victorino in the 3rd and and a three-run rally in the 4th. Still they didn't want to take any chances of St. Louis mounting a comeback. Koji Uehara came in for the save and he delivered. He got the first two batters to fly out and then struck out Matt Carpenter to secure Boston's 8th World Series title.

Unhappy Customer
Received Incorrect Item + Terrible Customer Service

While the idea of Playbook’s products is unique, everything else associated with the Company is a nightmare. I ordered a Christmas gift in plenty of time for Christmas Day. Unfortunately, they sent the wrong item. I reached out and received a response to send a photo of the wrong item and was told they could not guarantee getting a replacement to me by Xmas. That’s ridiculous as I just had a different company who offered to overnight to me 3 days before Xmas to get by the 24th so there is a way to provide good customer service when you make an error. Anyway, after sending the photo, I Never heard a word back so I sent it again. To this date, I have yet to receive a response and am left holding slate coasters that I do not want as it is the wrong team as well as being short a Christmas gift for my son. Please run from this company and find a different source.

Awesome!

Really great, going to be a gift (haven't given yet due to filling this out before.. thanks email), but I did notice that the engraving can be hidden if you tilt it just right when holding it. Also a little thin compared to an old coaster we have, but still great!
