2014 Stanley Cup Finals: Game 5
Second Stanley Cup
Kings vs New York
3 - 2
13 June, 2014
It looked like Los Angeles might sweep the Finals after winning the first 3 games, but New York fought back to take Game 4. New York continued to fight in Game 5, taking a 2 - 1 lead in the second period, but Marian Gaborik got the equalizer in the third to take it to OT. The game was still tied after the first OT, and with 14 minutes passed in the second OT it looked like it might go to 3OT. That's when Alex Martinez found the back of the net, putting back a blocked shot from Tyler Toffoli for the win. The win gave Los Angeles their their 2nd Stanley Cup in 3 seasons.

1993 Conference Finals: Game 6
Gretzky's OT goal
Kings vs Toronto
5 - 4
27 May, 1993
Los Angeles was facing elimination in the 1993 Clarence Campbell Conference Finals, but had forced Game 6 into OT. Under two minutes into OT Tomas Sandstrom got the puck out of the corner to Luc Robitaille who passed it to Wayne Gretzky swooping in to the net. Gretzky hit it home to force Game 7. In Game 7 Gretzky got a hat trick to propel Los Angeles on to its first ever Stanley Cup Finals.

2012 Stanley Cup Finals: Game 6
First Stanley Cup
Kings vs New Jersey
6 - 1
11 June, 2012
In only their second trip to the Finals ever, Los Angeles took a commanding series lead, winning the first 3 games. New Jersey took the next two, giving Los Angeles a chance to win it at home in Game 6. The first goal of the game came on a power play 11 minutes into the 1st period. Los Angeles worked the puck around the ice with Dustin Brown passing to Anze Kopitar to Mike Richards to Drew Doughty and then back to Brown for the goal. Los Angeles went on to win 6 - 1 to gain their first Stanley Cup.

1982 Smythe Division Semis: Game 3
The Miracle on Manchester
Kings vs Edmonton
6 - 5
10 April, 1982
It's perhaps the greatest comeback in hockey history. Already a huge underdog against Edmonton, Los Angeles found themselves down 5 - 0 at the start of the third period in Game 3 of the Semifinals. What happened next has been called a miracle. Jay Wells, Doug Smith, Charlie Simmer, Mark Hardy, Steve Bozek all scored on Wayne Gretzky's team to force the game into OT. Just over two minutes into OT Daryl Evans scored off a pass from Doug Smith to win this epic game.

Awesome!

Really great, going to be a gift (haven't given yet due to filling this out before.. thanks email), but I did notice that the engraving can be hidden if you tilt it just right when holding it. Also a little thin compared to an old coaster we have, but still great!
