The 2025 Stanley Cup Final was a tough, hard fought series between the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers - a rematch of the 2024 championship series. This game was one sided though, and this goal from Sam Reinhart started it off. After a bad pass to the skates of the Oilers defenseman, Sam Reinhart picks up the puck on the blue line, dances between the two defenseman, trip, slides on his back, and still manages to put it past Stuart Skinner to net the first goal of the game. This would go to be a historic night and the Panthers would go on to win their second Stanley Cup in 2 years.

Game 2 of the 2025 NHL Stanley Cup Final was anther barn burner. The Oilers, down 4-3 need a goal and score big in the final minute after pulling their goalie. With the game tied, the series sees OT for the second time in two nights. The first OT was hard fought, but with no scoring, requiring a second overtime. While Edmonton had the crowd on their side, the 'Rat' Brad Marchand delivers the Panthers their first win of the Finals with a breakaway pass up the middle of the ice. Marchand finds the 5 hole as the puck trickles into the net to end 2 OT and put the Panthers on top and headed home for the next two games tied 1-1 in the series. Love him or hate him, he's an electric player. Game 3 will be Monday in Florida.

What a season, what a series, what a game! To cap off an amazing Stanley Cup Final rematch between the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers, Sam Reinhart does the unthinkable and scores 4 goals in a Cup-clinching game. The first play to do so since Babe Dye in 1922. After scoring the first goal on his back, we knew it was going to be the Panther's game to loose. They went on to win this game 5-1 and clinch the series 4-2, winning the Stanley Cup back-to-back years, with a team that was somehow even better than last seasons team.

Round 2, Game 3 of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the defending champion Florida Panthers face off in Florida where Toronto is up 2 game to 0. Florida needs a win to get the momentum going and it comes from none-other than the best trade deadline of the year - Brad Marchand. The Rat takes the shot mostly to throw it on net from the top of the circle and it take a great bounce off a Leafs defenseman and redirects in to cap off a closely fought game. After the game, the Panthers continued their new tradition of shooting the fake rats that were thrown on the ice at The Rat himself before leaving the ice. The Panthers would go on to win the series and move on to face The Carolina Hurricanes in the 3rd round.
