Duke was dominant in the National Semifinals, beating Michigan State by 20 pts. Greyson Allen had the most memorable play of the game. Taking an inbound pass from Tyus Jones, Allen missed a 3 pointer but followed his shot, grabbed the rebound and put up a monsterous dunk that brought the crowd to its feet.

Playing at home against rival North Carolina, Duke was trailing by 10 with 4 minutes remaining. Justise Winslow and Tyus Jones stepped up to propel the team back into the game. Jones took the ball the length of the court with :30 to go to get the game-tying layup. Duke won the game by 2 in OT.

With under 5 minutes to play, Duke was down by 8 pts to #2 Virginia but Quinn Cook and Tyus Jones led the team on a furious 11-0 run to win the game and get the upset. The shot that tied the game was a kick out from Jahil Okafor to Tyus Jones who sent a laser pass to Justise Winslow for the lay up.

Tied going into halftime in the National Championship game, Wisconsin jumped out to an early lead in the 2nd half. But Jahil Okafor and Tyus Jones thundered back. With just over 4 minutes remaining, Jones hit the go ahead 3-pointer and Duke never trailed again. The win got Duke their 5th title.
