1986 Super Bowl XX
The Fridge's Touchdown
Bears vs New England
46 - 10
26 January, 1986
The Super Bowl versus the Patriots was a rout where the Bears recorded records including most sacks (7), fewest rushing yards allowed (also 7), and margin of victory (36). The most memorable play was William "Refrigerator" Perry's rushing for what would be the Bear's last touchdown of the game.
1977 Regular Season, Week 9
Miracle Finish
Bears vs Kansas City
28 - 27
13 November, 1977
Over 13 years with the Bears, Walter "Sweetness" Payton carried 3,838 times for 16,726 and 110 TDs. This run against the Chiefs first made people, including Jim Brown, really take notice. He broke 7 tackles, literally running through some defenders, before being brought down at the 4 yard line.
1965 Regular Season, Week 13
Sayers 6 TD game
Bears vs San Francisco
61 - 20
12 December, 1965
In his rookie year Gale Sayers showed he had the makings of a legend, recording an NFL record of 6 touchdowns vs the 49ers. It's hard to choose the best one as they include an 80 yard pass, a 21 yard rush and an 86 yd punt return. But we'll go with his longest rush of the game, a 50 yd touchdown.
2006 Regular Season, Week 6
Monday Night Comeback
Bears vs Arizona
24 - 23
16 October, 2006
While Hester has many impressive punt returns, including one for 92 yards in Super Bowl XLI, this one vs the Cardinals was key to the victory. The game in and of itself was very memorable and key to the Bears momentum to the postseason. NLF Network ranks the game #6 in best comebacks of all time.
