Relive one of the greatest moments in Cubs baseball history with this museum-quality, matte black poster:
1998 Regular Season
Wood strikes out 20
Cubs vs Houston
2 - 0
6 May, 1998
In 1998 Kerry Wood became only the 2nd pitcher, after Roger Clemens, to strike out 20 batters in a 9-inning game. More remarkably, Wood was only 20 years old at the time and pitching in only his fifth major league game. Meaning that Wood struck out his age in only his fifth try in the big leagues.
