Losing 1-2 in Detroit, Niedermayer at only 21 years of age raced through 3 defenders, putting Coffey to the ground and scoring a crucial game-tying goal. New Jersey would win this game, giving themselves a 2-0 lead as they headed home to New Jersey where they would complete the sweep. Cup Champions.

Arguably the greatest goaltender in the history of hockey, Marty Brodeur broke the all-time wins record (551) on March 17, 2009. In true legendary fashion, he had to make a great double-save with less than 10 seconds left to seal the win and his accomplishment. He finished his career with 691 wins.

In a rematch of the 1994 Conference Finals, New Jersey was able to get it's revenge over rival New York. In what can only be described as a chaotic cluster in front of New York's goal mouth, Henrique was able to poke the puck home and clinch the series and a trip back to the Stanley Cup Finals.
