2014 Stanley Cup Finals: Game 5
Second Stanley Cup
Kings vs New York
3 - 2
13 June, 2014
It looked like Los Angeles might sweep the Finals after winning the first 3 games, but New York fought back to take Game 4. New York continued to fight in Game 5, taking a 2 - 1 lead in the second period, but Marian Gaborik got the equalizer in the third to take it to OT. That's when Alex Martinez found the back of the net, putting back a blocked shot from Tyler Toffoli for the win. The win gave Los Angeles their their 2nd Stanley Cup in 3 seasons.
