Having beaten Ottowa in 3 of the previous 4 postseasons, Ottawa fans were desperate to finally get one over on Toronto. The series went to game 7 and then immediately all the tension vanished. Toronto jumped up to a huge lead and crushed Ottowa. Toronto made it clear, they were the Kings of Ontario.

1993 Norris Division Semis: Game 7
Back to Winning Ways
Maple Leafs vs Detroit
4 - 3
1 May, 1993
Finally getting back to winning ways after the Ballard era, an overtime game-winner in game 7 of the playoffs marked the beginning of a resurgence for Toronto. Finally, after so long, the Maple Leafs had something real to cheer for.

1967 Stanley Cup Finals: Game 6
13th Championship
Maple Leafs vs Montreal
3 - 1
2 May, 1967
1967, a familiar year to Toronto fans. Bittersweet perhaps, the year should still be heralded as something important. The 13th Stanley Cup won by Toronto.
