1971 Regular Season
The Genuflect Play
Notre Dame vs Purdue
8 - 7
25 September, 1971
It was a low scoring muddy game. Late in the 4th Notre Dame recovered a fumble for a TD, and Ara Parseghian called for the "Genuflect play." On the 2 pt conversion, QB Pat Steenberge faked a sweep and Mike Creaney faked a block, got to his knee and then slipped into the end zone to make the catch.

The bodysuit

• Envelope neckline, side seams, and a three-snap leg closure
• White or black, in 3-6, 6-12, and 12-18 months
• Meets infant safety limits for lead, phthalates, formaldehyde, bisphenols, and other restricted substances
• Cute enough for a first photo, a baby shower, or a first birthday
