Portland gave their fans a game to remember at the 2011 home opener at Jeld-Wen Field. Portland took the first three goals and eventually won 4 - 2. Jorge Perlaza had the first and third goal, and the second went to Rodney Wallace. Wallace shot a rocket of a goal after Jack Jewsbury's free kick was cleared just out of the box.
