Red Sox vs Detroit
5 - 2
19 October, 2013
Boston was looking to win the ALCS in 6 games but were down a run going into the 7th inning. Fortunately Boston was ready to hit. Jonny Gomes started the inning with a double to left. After Stephen Drew struck out, Xander Bogaerts walked and Ellsbury got to first on a shortstop error. With the bases loaded Shane Victorino stepped up and put the game away.
