2009 AL Central Tiebreaker
Game 163
Twins vs Detroit
6 - 5
6 October, 2009
Minnesota won 17 of their last 21 games and suddenly found themselves with a chance to win the division and earn a playoff spot. It all came down to a single game - a tiebreaker against Detroit. It was a fantastic game that stretched 12 innings culminating in Casilla's RBI, driving home Gomez.

1991 World Series: Game 6
Game 6 Heroics
Twins vs Atlanta
4 - 3
26 October, 1991

1991 World Series: Game 7
The Game 7 Duel
Twins vs Atlanta
1 - 0
27 October, 1991
After Puckett's Game 6 heroics, Jack Morris would duel against John Smoltz. Morris stayed in for all 10 innings without giving up a run. In the 10th inning Larkin drove in Gladden for the win but in the 8th inning with bases loaded, a rare 3-2-3 double play saved the shutout and kept MIN alive.

1987 World Series: Game 7
Winning the Title
Twins vs St. Louis
4 - 2
25 October, 1987
This team was fairly average, going just 85-77 in the regular season - but that almost makes this a little more special. Winning their final two games of the series at home, Minnesota won it's first World Series in a tense Game 7.
