Trailing by one against Oklahoma in the Big 12 tournament semifinals, Jaysean Paige hit a pull up jumper from the free throw line to give WVU a one point lead with 11 seconds remaining. After a defensive stop and a made free throw by the Mountaineers, Buddy Hield banked in half court shot that was waived off as he didn't get the shot off in time, and WVU advanced to the tournament championship.
