Tim Duncan sustained a minor injury in the game but came back in to help the Spurs beat the Mavericks. Duncan went 4 for 5 in the paint in the quarter and helped keep Dallas scoreless for 5 and a half minutes. Midway through the 4th Duncan had this textbook layup over Dirk Nowitzki.

All of the Spurs players had excellent games in Game 5 but Manu Ginobili had perhaps the most surprising play. Just before half Ginobili drove the court and put up a monster dunk over Chris Bosh and Ray Allen. The Spurs demolished the Heat in 5 games and gained their 5th title in 15 years.

The Thunder had pushed the Spurs to OT and were threatening to take the series to 7. Kawhi Leonard showed why he would be the eventual MVP with this clutch steal off of a 2 on 3 fast break. With the defensive play of the game, Leonard preserved the Spurs 1 pt lead and guaranteed them the win.

The Spurs never trailed in this crushing defeat of the Trail Blazers. In Game 1 Tony Parker had a series high 33 points. One of the best layup shooters in the game, late in the 3rd quarter Parker made a 360 spin move on this drive to get the layup and one, putting the Spurs up by 25 points.
