In their 2nd Super Bowl victory, Roger Staubach and the Doomsday Defense crushed the Broncos Orange Crush with a stifling defense that forced 8 turnovers. The game was put out of reach midway through the 4th quarter with Robert Newhouse's 29-yard TD pass on a halfback option to Golden Richards.

The Steelers had inched within a FG when Larry Brown collected his 2nd interception of the game. The pick set up an Emmit Smith TD that gave the Cowboys an insurmountable lead. The play helped earn Brown the Super Bowl MVP award and earned Dallas their 3rd Super Bowl in 4 seasons and 5th overall.

The Cowboys ended their winless playoff drought with a big Wild Card win over the Eagles in 2010. Dallas never trailed in the game, putting up 4 TDs and 2 FGs to the Eagles 2 TDs. The icing on the cake was Felix Jones' franchise playoff record 76-yard TD run off a handoff from Tony Romo.
