2002 Regular Season
Untouchable
Falcons vs Minnesota
30 - 24
1 December, 2002
Under Vick's first full season as the starter, he showed not only his flash but his ability to make game-winning plays. In an overtime game against Minnesota, Vick took off running from what was a called passing play. The star couldn't be touched as he found the endzone 46 yards later.
1999 Conference Championship
Super Bowl Bound
Falcons vs Minnesota
30 - 27
17 January, 1999
The 1998 Minnesota team is one of the two best teams to never win a Super Bowl - we have Atlanta to thank for that. Trailing by 7 with 2 minutes left, Atlanta marched down the field to put it into overtime where Anderson nailed a field goal - sending Atlanta into it's first Super Bowl.
1978 Regular Season
Big Ben Right
Falcons vs New Orleans
20 - 17
12 November, 1978
Down 4 points with only 19 seconds remaining, Atlanta called "Big Ben Right" a designed hail mary with an added trick where the reciever would purposefully tip the ball to a teammate instead of catching it. It worked to perfection as Francis tipped to Jackson who walked into the endzone for the win.
2017 Conference Championship
Georgia Dome Domination
Falcons vs Green Bay
44 - 21
22 January, 2017
The 2017 Conference Championship was a showcase of all the offensive firepower on Atlanta's team. Routing Green Bay, they raced up to a 31-0 lead moments into the second half as Julio Jones took one for 73 yards. This was the last game in the Georgia Dome and it was dominant display.
