Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate. After 7 straight losses in the rivalry, the hate was really starting to build up. In 2008, Tech got their first victory over Georgia since 2000 as they ran rampant over the Bulldogs. Jones and Dwyer led the way as Tech racked up 409 rushing yards to beat Stafford and UGA.

In 1990, Georgia Tech pulled off one of the most memorable seasons in college football history. Beginning the season unranked and gradually climbing themselves to the #2 spot, G.T won the UPI coaches choice for the national championship. The highlight of the season was beating #1 ranked Virginia.

Another intense game in one of sports greatest rivalries, the high scoring affair was pushed into overtime due to a controversial call on a Georgia fumble. With only a few seconds left, the fumble cost Georgia the game. Tech would win it in overtime and enrage Bulldog fans everywhere.
