1993 Big Ten Championship
Kaufman's buzzer-beater
Illinois vs Iowa
78 - 77
4 February, 1993
Iowa had just seemingly won the game but the refs put 1.5 secs on the clock, giving Lou Henson's team one last chance. T.J. Wheeler threw a "hail mary" pass to Andy Kaufman who put up an off-kilter 3-pointer at the buzzer. The basket is considered by many to be the greatest moment in Assembly Hall.
