2002 National Championship
Winning it all
Maryland vs Indiana
64 - 52
1 April, 2002
As the nations top team having lost the semifinals of the ACC tournament, some started to doubt the ability of Maryland to make a run at the title. Shutting down any uncertainty; Juan Dixon, Lonny Baxter and Steve Blake led Maryland to their first and only NCAA Championship.

2002 Regular season
Homecourt History
Maryland vs Duke
87 - 73
17 February, 2002
Having devastating losses to Duke in the 3 games prior, pressure was on Maryland. Playing their final matchup against bitter rival Duke at Cole Field House, they'd upset the top-ranked team. Cole holds the record as the building with the most upsets of #1-ranked men's basketball teams, with seven.

1986 Regular season
Two legends meet
Maryland vs North Carolina
77 - 72
20 February, 1986
Len Bias dominated with a 35 point performance as unranked Maryland upset top ranked #1 North Carolina in Chapel Hill to hand the Tarheels their first loss at the Dean Smith Center. This game put the gold plating on Bias as it became clear to many he was just as good, if not better, than Jordan.

2004 ACC Championship
3 Days, 3 Upsets
Maryland vs Duke
95 - 87
14 March, 2004
Having not won the ACC tournament since 1984, Maryland entered the tourney after a very mediocre regular season. However, Maryland would win 3 games in 3 days against the top 3 ACC seeds, all ranked in the top 25, culminating in an overtime win against Duke to win Gary Williams his only ACC title.
